During our recent trip to Kutch in the western region of Gujarat, as part of Shira’s textile and natural dyeing research, we spent a day bird watching on the edge of the Banni Grasslands.
What an amazing series of adventures you're experiencing. Wow for all the wonderful birds and animals you've been seeing. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
P. juliflora - another morning interrupted, willingly, to advance my nature studies. Interestingly, some of the images I found bouncing about the web were green and succulent. In the arid ground shown in the pics and video, everything looks yellow and unappetizing. It also seems to have some medicinal uses.
Every photo a winner, especially the closeup of the cow. The colors radiated. Lots of different points of view. Man in the antlers looks like David. I could feel the heat.
So enjoyed this…. Mac shared with our friend Emeritus intl bird guy @MA Audubon who has led trips all over, including our group in Mongolia. Great photos and video!
Loved the photography! Wonderful to see so many new birds.
What a list!
No wild ungulates out there I take it?
