A number of times during our early morning exercises with the Parimal Breathing Club, campaigners come to advocate a product or cause to our group of upwards of 100 seniors. Today was one such instance that we captured on video. It seems either an NGO or workers from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (we never did find out who they were) came to encourage people to use the trash bins set up around the city and to recycle their garbage. They even brought a social media “influencer” (woman in the video with phone wearing a yellow sweatshirt) to film their campaign, including paying tribute to one of the members whose birthday was today. The last promotion we experienced was by a group of young college students working as marketers for a medical clinic who were inviting people to a seminar about an alternative procedure for knee replacement surgery. Nothing like having a predictably large group of enthusiastic and retired seniors present each morning at the park to advertise your wares or positions.

Better than watching Modi make believe he has any interest in their future on morning television.
I love the group laughter! We all need more of that.
